The text integrates theory and practice in a concise, but deep enough, into an understandable and pleasant reading. The correlation between concepts, anatomical accuracy of point description, and a wide range of applicable examples, provide practical, easy-learning knowledge for both beginners who require initial support as well as those who are experienced and yearn for understandable review in the area of animal acupuncture. In the text translation we chose to use the terms hemopuncture and aquapuncture as defined by the author, rather than the terms sangria and pharmacopuncture respectively, commonly used in the practice of Brazilian veterinary acupuncture. In turn, the anatomical descriptions have been updated according to the current anatomical nomine.
